I’ve been using Gmail back when it was by invite only; something I’m proud of. As time has passed Google has added great features and tools to improve Gmail that have made it too cluttered for me.

I’ve been a Firefox user for years and used extensions to create a minimalist look to the Gmail interface. These days I’ve switched over to Goggles’ Chrome as my default browser.

If you’re going to surf the web nothing is faster or minimalistic out of the box than Google’s’ chrome. Naturally I needed to get back to my beloved minimalist Gmail setup with my new shinny browser.

I recommend using Matt Constantine minimalist Gmail extension. It is by far the best one out there.

Check out my 2 minute video below for a complete walk through.

P.S. Don’t forget to buy Matt a beer!
